I daily use several applications inside the Microsoft 365 suite. I use Outlook as a desk application to manage emails. Despite of the most app available in the store I consider for now maybe one of the best tool for this purpose. Microsoft Word is used to write and access documentation together with Powerpoint for slides presentations and some Excel to create tables and some calculations.
  • Outlook for me is one of the best app to manage emails
  • Calendar is very good to manage duties
  • Words is very strait forward on writing docs
  • Sometimes emails are not well notified
  • Better integration with Google tools would be good
  • Microsoft Teams not nice at all
Microsoft 365 is a good suite for large enterprises companies for their collaboration and productivity. It's useful for remote working and file sharing on OneDrive.
I prefer other vendor tools for online calls because Teams is very heavy and Skype not useful in general for my organisation where some other products are mostly used.

We are using Microsoft 365 which includes Exchange Online for mailboxes, SharePoint Online for collaborations, Teams for messaging, etc. There are 2000 users in all and we use E5 license for all the users who use company laptops. We also use Security and compliance feature in Office 365 to keep our data safe. Exchange Online archiving is enabled for all users. All the mailboxes are on legal hold so that data would be available even if user tries to delete it intentionally or has left the organization. Sharing of files and documents from OneDrive and Sharepoint is not allowed externally. Only internal employees can share within themselves. In case users wants to share it externally we add the external users as guest through Azure portal and then allow them to share it via Teams after getting the Non Disclosure Document betwen the parties.
  • Management of mailboxes is done very well in Exchange Online in Microsoft 365.
  • Security and compliance feature has many application which help to keep your organization secure and compliant.
  • Teams and SharePoint is wonderful tool for collaboration.
  • Microsoft 365 really needs to work on protection part. In complex environment it is not reliable as compared to its competitors like Proofpoint. There are many instances where it fails to perform effectively.
  • In SharePoint Online the versioning feature of the document needs to be improved by Microsoft. Sometimes when we have to roll back to the previous version it does not work as expected.
  • In Teams messaging and app permission policies can be improved. There are some settings where we have to add a lot of things manually.
I have been working on this product for more than 10 years now. This product has evolved and made tremendous improvements during this period. This product is a complete package and suitable for almost every environment. It will work in simple, medium, large and complex environments. Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive will fulfill your business requirements. There are features like Data classification, labelling, records management, Ediscovery, Legal hold, ATP, DLP, Defender which are must in every organization.

The only thing I am a little not confident about this product is its reliability on protection. It is not as efficient as anybody would want. Even if you apply stringent of restrictions it can still be broken and Spam or other malicious activity can enter.

In our company majority of the majority of the tasks are linked to Microsoft 365 in one or another way. In our company we use Microsoft Outlook for the communication purpose and Microsoft teams for the meetings. Our data is stored in one drive and we use Powerpoint and excel to present ir manage data. Microsoft 365 helps a lot even with its security features. Our authentication app is also Microsoft Authenticator which makes it seamless to login to various Office products. The combination of all these Microsoft 365 products makes to very easier for us to carry the office work. For example Outlook and Teams makes the communication through mails and meetings very easier. Microsoft also provides many security features to our company like My apps which authenticates logging into some company specific apps easier. The only thing I dislike about Microsoft 365 is these softwares occupy a lot of space in the oc and makes it slower sometimes. With providing the lighter versions of these softwares Microsoft can make these softwares run faster on even low end devices
  • Syncing of data between two different softwares
  • Data visualisation in excel
  • Video recording and translation in Microsoft Teams
  • Security features provided by Microsoft 365 are great
  • Make the softwares lighter, so that they can be used on low end devices
  • Can reduce the prices
  • Recommending formulas according to the user's need in excel will help a lot
The scenario where the Microsoft 365 is well suited is when a meeting is scheduled in the Teams, the outlook will send mail to all the members who are included in the meeting. The person who wants to conduct the meeting need not to communicate with everyone separately. The less appropriate scenario is like when the data is sent through teams to other collegue, the data sometimes changes it format and some format files cannot be transferred using Microsoft 365 softwares.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. With the migration from "down load the program from these small diskettes" to the current "it's in the cloud, so you better have a good internet connection" the workhorse of the business world has been Microsoft. Office is as you might expect: reliable and a little bloated. We don't use all of it's features and there are times I think it would have been fine to just stick with that version that came on 3.25" diskettes, but I do like being able to access my work from anywhere I can get online, especially in COVID times.
  • Access your documents and be able to edit from anywhere you can get online.
  • Ability to create one thing and use it in multiple places, e.g. create a spreadsheet and use it as a table.
  • [Integrated] spell-check [and others] to make it seem I'm smarter than I am.
  • [Online] limitations - so I can't use it everywhere.
  • Not the most intuitive to use - unless you've had a lot of experience, it's not easy to figure out how to do things. Need to know a lot of vocabulary to be able to use the help feature to find out the steps needed.
  • Slight differences between platforms can be annoying.
It's great for traditional offices where spreadsheets and memos (now email) abound. The ability to make a spreadsheet in Excel and then past it into a text document has always been a plus, but there are times I almost wish "Clippy" was back to [guessing] what I'm trying to do when I don't have the vocabulary to be able to look it up.

It's lousy for design work and for more artistic kinds of expression, but then again that was never its goal. For the MBA holders, not the MFAs.

We utilize M365 across our entire organization in a hybrid environment. We chose M365 initially for the licensing structure and cost efficiencies associated with desktop and mobile Office applications. Through the evolution of M365, we now appreciate one portal to administer our Office, and other Microsoft app, deployments. We also enjoy the reporting features as well.
  • Email
  • Deployment
  • Licensing
  • Cost
  • Administration
  • Teams stability issues
  • Handling third-party email security vendors (ex. Trustifi, etc.)
  • Work with more vendors for third-party integrations
I would recommend M365 for small to medium-sized businesses that need, or want, the value for licensing multiple devices, per account, with Office applications and other Microsoft services. However, that said, there should be someone in the business that can administrate the M365 account for all staff, preferably either internal IT or an outsourced MSP. I would suggest utilizing video and file-sharing services such as Zoom until at such time Microsoft Teams application and services are more stable and afford more integration with other vendors.

Office 365 is being used by our entire organization for the base office products and for email. Some users and departments use some of the additional online features to better help with sharing and collaboration. Since switching to office 365 our updates and roll-outs have gone much smoother and complexity of the solution has gotten much easier to maintain.
  • Quick and Easy updates
  • Easier back end management of users and licenses
  • Infrastructure cost have gone down
  • Learning curve in going to the cloud
  • Training users the email might be a little slower with the internet hop was initially troublesome but has since improved
  • Online versions of products could use some improvement as users expect full functionality but isn't always there
Office 365 is perfect for any organization. It makes managing of basic office products much easier and helps our users work from anywhere. Having the email hosted elsewhere took some initial getting used to but since has been perfect. We saved on infrastructure costs and in general have much less trouble than when we were managing things ourselves. Once you get over the initial hurdle/implementation it almost runs itself.

We tried using lots of software for our CSV file operations but none was as good as Excel. It lets us edit, view and create beautiful charts using the data. It was a pain to try using online solutions with our large CSV files. Excel handled all these large files like it was nothing. We could search and add columns and notes all over the data.
Microsoft Word is also used daily for our documents and it is very useful to have the Save as PDF feature. The compatibility between office versions is also really stable.
It was a very nice surprise that Office 365 software is also working on my Mac. I requested for a license from my company and installed the software and it saved me from lots of trouble in my Mac computer. I had all of the feature on my mobile computer too. The fonts and the icons look a bit off but it should be due to the MacOS environment. I didn't have any trouble installing or using it. It is a shame that we don't have integration with OneDrive while using Mac but I can just do the uploads manually.
  • Handle large CSV files gracefully.
  • The formattin of the files are not lost between different Office versions.
  • Works perfectly on a MacOS computer.
  • While using it on MacOS, the UI is not as good as it looks on Windows.
  • On MacOS, it is not integrated with OneDrive.
  • The updates may not work sometimes on MacOS.
When working with CSV data files, if you don't have a local software, it is a hassle to upload it to an online service. It takes too much time to upload it and to display it. If the file is too large, it cannot even be processed online. When you Excel on your local computer, everything becomes simple. The file is opened instantly. You can search and process the file as you want. The modifications are done instantly.
When you prepare a long document, it is much faster to work locally and the formatting is kept very well.
As the downside, it is not very well suited for collaboration. Some online competitors are much faster to use. Sharing, commenting and collaborative editing needs improvement.

Our university implemented Microsoft 365 about 4 years ago. We use the suite of products for all business tasks within the organization, incl. the entire office suite, email, calendar, Teams, Planner, etc.
  • Interoperability with MS 365
  • Dark Mode
  • Online capabilities
  • unintuitive interfaces
  • awful user experience
  • online editing issues
The offline Office suite is still the same product is has always been, with complete functionality and known interface. As soon as you choose to edit online however, the ribbon changes, and editing is less intuitive than in the offline version. It is basically impossible to find any files in the OneDrive, and there are multiple steps where things can go wrong when editing. The review mode is horrid, the interface displays all changes at once without guides as in the offline version. Documents appear cluttered and are not easy to edit.

Microsoft 365 has been used extensively in our organization. Everything we need to carry out our roles and collaborate in groups is contained in this one package. All of the company's employees will benefit from it. Interpersonal and cloud connectivity are both essential. This software integrates well with Microsoft 365. Calendar, Tasks, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are all utilized. Calendar, note-taking, and spreadsheet features are included. It has everything a business needs to run smoothly.
  • Microsoft 365 makes managing user mailboxes and policies a breeze, and its spreadsheets helped us organize our maintenance work.
  • Microsoft 365 makes it simple to draft letters and memos, and the account security features work well.
  • Our data is presented in a beautiful slideshow that integrates seamlessly with the rest of our Windows PCs and seamlessly integrates with word.
  • Some applications are bulky, and communication between office and non-office applications is always desired.
  • Relatively little has changed at work. Incorporating a Python scripting tool with Excel could be helpful as most people want to add custom code.
  • There is a problem with licensing clarity and the constant shifting of where things are, hiding existing functions in new locations.
Our office's operations have always been built around it. Exchange Online is a fantastic option for any company looking to switch to Microsoft 365 from their current system. Providing the office suite with enterprise licensing can also save money. It reduces capital expenditures and improves operational spending. In the absence of Microsoft 365, we would not have been able to continue delivering our services in this way.

Microsoft 365 is used by all employees on a daily basis for everyday stuff. We all have Outlook emails, share files with OneDrive and Teams, and have standard office templates set up for things like Proposal Requests, ASI's, etc. We also use Microsoft 2 step authentication for logins for better security.
  • Emails/Calendar organize your emails, color coat them, turn them into tasks with follow-up dates, etc. Outlook calendar is life.
  • Being able to access your files online is very useful for live editing and sharing thoughts with teammates who may be across the ocean similar to Google Docs.
  • Interoperability between teams and OneDrive, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
  • Specifically on Teams, while video calling you should be able to draw on the shared screen like Zoom. Not a whiteboard, just a live drawing over the screen.
  • We have noticed that Sharepoint has a max capacity so every so often we need to clear out our old presentations and stuff to make room for the new ones. The process to do this could be inside of teams themselves rather than going to a web browser.
  • PowerPoint in both the browser app and the installed app - wish you could crop and resize images AND THEN re-link an updated image and it would save your cropping/resizing like in Adobe InDesign.
  • Wish the "Categories" you can assign in Outlook emails (which include color coatings) would show up in the phone app.
  • Wish the "Categories" you can assign in Outlook emails (which include color coatings) could have unlimited color selections and custom hotkey binds.
I think as a daily engine for tasks/files/management/communication, Microsoft 365 helps our office run smoothly and get our work done. We have many employees and a cross-discipline firm so it makes sense to have the full suite. I think it might be less appropriate in smaller firms or other firm types that don't rely heavily on email.

Mostly Outlook, Excel & Word - these programs are terrific.
  • Makes it easy to use email.
  • Create complicated spreadsheets easily.
  • Coordinate word documents among employees easily.
  • My number 1 complaint is that on Excel it would be nice to be able to add and/or replace certain number formats to the ribbon.
  • On Outlook it should be easier to add/subtract people from the auto-fill when sending emails.
  • The paragraph settings on word can be improved.
At this point, with people working from home, it would be close to impossible to run a company without this software.

It's convenient to use anywhere with browser. We can share the documents easily with common format.
  • We use Visio to draw diagrams
  • Web interface
  • Share across on the cloud
  • Visio diagram is not easy to export to word or PowerPoint
  • Visio does not support Mac OS
  • The auto save should turn on as default
Microsoft 365 is good for all my desktop or laptop at home. I can login my account and edit without needing to copy to locally. With OneDrive which will sync to everywhere and I don't need to worry about losing the document. I used Visio a lot just hope that it will be available at Mac laptop because I used Mac OS most of the time

Microsoft 365 is our company’s essential communications, collaboration, and sharing platform. Currently, our whole organization operates Microsoft 365, formerly known as Office 365. Nothing is challenging to figure out or use in this application. For example, we have Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive installed across the entire company. We allow our users to access their 365 accounts from anywhere and download programs to their computers as needed. It also has more features than we require. Our team works with Microsoft 365 suite products for basic word processing, data reporting, and individual project tracking. Time management, search, and progress monitoring are all made easier with this tool. In terms of email, Microsoft Outlook is the best, and SharePoint is a great collaboration tool. Microsoft 365 has provided us with real-world solutions and enabled us to use cloud-based applications. Except for industry-specific programs, it handles most of our daily program needs.
  • It is a cloud-based platform that does not require installation and is widely recognized. Users can log in via a browser or through a native application.
  • Usability and convenience with Microsoft 365 provide a great cloud solution that makes it accessible to access our content on any device.
  • It is easy to create documents for team meetings using Microsoft 365 because it integrates with all other Microsoft solutions I use.
  • An ever-expanding spreadsheet program, Excel has become more than just a way to organize and analyze data.
  • Presentations quickly turned into videos or shareable documents using PowerPoint’s built-in accessibility reviewer and tips.
  • It isn't easy to read white on white menus. I'd like to have more contrast, but I'm having trouble saving.
  • There is a limited ability to ask questions in Microsoft Forms, and the help sections are frequently tricky to locate.
  • It's not fun to use; there are a lot of glitches. It's not something that interests me.
  • Not all features are available in the web version. But still it is a good thing.
Microsoft 365 enabled seamless collaboration between colleagues and teams during the pandemic. Valid everyday-use documents, emails, charts, and data are well-done by this application. It is a cloud-based version of all Office applications and is excellent for essential documents, emails, graphs, data, chats, and communications. If you don't have a lot of money, it may not be the best option. It also lacks the capability of in-depth creation. There is a price to pay, but the long-term benefits are worth it.

Microsoft 365 is used by everyone from all departments in my organization. It is mainly used for business communications internally and with all the clients. All its applications from Word to Excel are useful for everyday work which helps in increasing the efficiency in business activities. The functionality of using this suite when online and also when offline makes it much more liked product.
  • Cloud feature enables us to connect and work from anywhere
  • It has very good security features being a Microsoft product
  • Very user friendly
  • Storage capacity issues come up every time
  • Frequent updates causes the features to change making it hard to keep track
  • Compatibility with existing system is a concern due to frequent updates
Microsoft 365 is best suited for business communications as it caters everything that is required for giving best experience. We can use it even when we are offline and use the cloud version whenever needed. Outlook is helpful for conversations with group and for sending files through attachments and similarly Word and PowerPoint make our daily life easy with its best features. Its robust security features makes it even more preferred choice for everyone.

We're using it across the entire organization. Since it's integrated with SSO and our base accounts, everyone has access and a license. It prevents sending stale files over email and allows for better collaboration.
  • Allows for collaboration with multiple people editing files
  • Provides a full suite of productivity tools to easily coordinate
  • The online versions of Word, Excel, PPT are cumbersome and missing functionality, and opening in the desktop versions removes the usefulness of collaboration
  • Managing sharing of files is cumbersome w/ several access points that don't all have the same functionality
  • Lists should be better integrated w/ email reminders
  • OneNote should allow copying between notebooks and searching across sections
Microsoft 365 is great for collaboration when everyone is using it. I like how a suite of productivity tools are integrated together. I don't like how the online and desktop versions of the app function differently. It's one of the reasons why I prefer Google Suite, because I never have to wonder where my functionality went!

Microsoft 365 is currently being used by the entire organization. The cloud-based version is absolutely great when it comes to sharing documents with other employees.
  • Shares easily
  • Search is user friendly and easy to narrow
  • Improvement on sharing documents with people outside the organization.
SharePoint is one of the main reasons we love Microsoft 365, we can share documents instantly, and collaborate on projects together. The only down fall is the difficulty it is to share documents in SharePoint with outside persons.

Microsoft 365 is used by our whole organization. This includes the following suite of apps: Word Excel Powerpoint Onenote Teams Onedrive All of our marketing material and presentation material is created using Powerpoint with a custom-made template. Although we use Slack for our internal communication, many customers we interface with use Teams, so with having Teams it allows us to communicate with them. We use the Onedrive or Sharepoint to share documents and material via the cloud and utilize the restricted access features of onedrive and Sharepoint. For documents that require to be exported to document control management tools, we start them in a Microsoft Word format then convert to PDF. Any time sheets are required, it will either be done via Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Syncing via the cloud.
  • Collaborative editing and creating of documents.
  • Clear communications via Teams.
  • Too many places to edit (in Teams, in the web app version of the application, in the desktop app).
  • Sometimes if editing via the desktop version, sync doesn't always happen smoothly.
  • When editing via web app or Teams version, there are limited features in the ribbon.
Microsoft 365 is a very integrated suite of applications and works well across both Mac OS and Windows OS. I think it can be considered the gold standard for creating documents, presentations, and taking notes. Where it lacks is the way it integrates all of its applications in the collaboration space. For example, when editing specific documents via the web app or in Teams, the ribbon does not have all the features compared to the actual desktop applications. I definitely like how the collaboration space is always constantly improved and is more efficient. It's a much smoother experience when all party members are editing via a web app compared to when some are using the desktop app. Sometimes the desktop app versions do not sync or connect properly. Otherwise, in general, I would recommend Microsoft 365 as a good set of collaboration tools.

Microsoft 365 has been rolled out across the organisation for all users over the past 2-3 years. The organisation has migrated from Office 2016, so most users are already comfortable with the Microsoft/Office environment. Users here make full use of the suite, but primarily use Outlook, Word, and Excel. I have personally been enjoying the new version of OneNote, but have most enjoyed the new version of Excel with new formulae being available (XLOOKUP being my favourite). With almost all correspondence being sent through Outlook, it is hard to imagine a problem that Microsoft 365 does not address here.
  • Sending emails and organising meetings through Outlook and integration with MS Teams.
  • Basic to moderately complex data analysis through Excel. Running reports and dashboards pulling data from both SQL databases, CSV files and other excel sheets.
  • Cloud integration for documents, automatically saving.
  • Collaboration on files such as Excel could be better. Shared workbooks do not have the same level of collaboration as alternatives such as Google sheets.
  • Outlook should allow mail merge to be sent from group mailboxes rather than the primary account.
  • Easier control over alerts from Outlook would allow users with multiple mailboxes to manage their experience better - especially where they may want to quickly monitor one mailbox for a short period.
Microsoft 365 is highly suited for business users - the constant updates and access to top-tier software make it an obvious choice. However, I would not necessarily recommend it for the casual home user who might just need simple word processing or spreadsheets. In fact, for these scenarios I have recommended either free software or free cloud-based software. But for business users, Outlook alone is worth the price of admission.

Our whole organization (less [than] one department with field employees) currently uses Microsoft 365 as our main way of communication through Outlook and Teams. We also utilize Calendar, Tasks, OneDrive, SharePoint, Yammer, and of course Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. We especially love Teams because of the ease of use and the screen-sharing feature. We also love the OneDrive because it makes it easy to work from home or the office, and we can share folders/files and it allows real-time updates.
  • Teams is so handy. We love the screen-share feature!
  • I love the fact that we can use apps or the online version - it's so versatile.
  • Being able to access all our files/folders remotely through OneDrive has been a life-saver.
  • Using the online version of Calendar, I'm not able to update only certain individuals on an event. It would be nice to remove someone and only notify them, versus everyone getting a notification [as] the whole event changed.
  • I don't love how the online version is slightly different in functionality than the app versions. It makes it a little more difficult to seamlessly move between both.
  • Using the online version of Mail, some of the "Favorites" don't stay favorited. Also, I don't love that if you forward an email, it doesn't show up in your sent folder.
I think Microsoft 365 works really well for our company (roughly 175 employees, and all sorts of different departments/positions). We probably need to train some employees on all the features it offers, but those of us who work desk jobs tend to find and utilize the features well. It may not be well suited for really small companies, but then again, it might. It really depends on who is utilizing it - and it seems like there are many features that could be used for all sorts of companies.

It is being used across the entire organization for word processing and spreadsheet needs.
  • Collaborate on documents with teammates
  • Track changes and revisions in documents
  • Track and project business expenses in excel.
  • Uses quite a bit of memory resources if left open.
  • Grammar and spell check to benefit from an upgrade.
  • Formatting can be difficult to figure out at times.
If you need/want a lot of features when you work with word processing software or an spreadsheet, Microsoft is great. If you don't need all the bells & whistles, you can probably save your money and go with something like Google that will just get you by.

It is super easy for the communication in the organisation. However, it might not be suitable to share with external organisation due to the privacy settings.

MS Office 365 is simply the gold standard for office productivity. As a team we routinely use nearly all the different software packages to perform daily functions such as word processing, spreadsheet activities and presentation development. The ease of use and integration between all users, both internally and externally, is second to none.
  • Word processing, spreadsheets and presentation development
  • Integration with email / Outlook and simple mail merge functions
  • OneDrive integration and sharing of files
  • OneDrive is actually a double-edged sword: it's good, but we encounter access issues more often than we'd like.
  • It also includes access to the online versions of Word, Excel, etc.. I wish the functionality of the online versions was exactly the same as the desktop version.
  • Formatting sometimes gets wonky when moving a file from online to offline or vice versa.
Again, MS Office 365 is just the gold standard. Nearly everyone is familiar with it, nearly everyone knows how to use it, and nearly everyone has compatible software that makes things really, really easy to share without issue. We don't use some of the tools such as Access and OneNote, but for word processing, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, there's just no match.

Microsoft 365 is the go-to suite for office productivity-spreadsheet, word processing, PIM Outlook and presentations. It has improved significantly in terms of usage and settings across multiple devices and platforms. The subscription model has helped with keeping users on the same version and up to date. We also find it is very effective with One Drive.
  • Calendar management and scheduling
  • Spreadsheets
  • Presentations
  • Sometimes difficult to find particular features and functions
  • Capabilities are so extensive that many go unused with substantial training
  • Should have secure email built-in
It is the foundational software set for office professionals who use spreadsheets, create or edit documents and presentations, and maintain calendars, to-do lists and contacts. It is fully featured beyond the needs of many users but an essential set of applications. I can't think of an office scenario where it isn't appropriate or essential.

We use Microsoft 365 enterprise-wide for reports, PowerPoint for training, email, contracts, documents, etc. Everything is highly intuitive and easy to use, [and] offers more functions than we need. One aspect of this product that needs serious work by the developer(s) is the Outlook email function. It is cumbersome and applies "rules" inconsistently. I frequently find valid email in my junk folder, after I created a rule for that originator (multiple times, actually). I occasionally find junk email in my inbox. Google's and Yahoo's algorithms are excellent at separating valid and junk email. That is the only complaint about the product. The support.... different story. Microsoft continues to use the pandemic as the excuse for poor customer service ("during these difficult times"). Funny how other companies of similar size and stature have rebounded and found a work-around to the COVID issues.
  • Document creation and editing.
  • Excel is highly intuitive and the Help function actually has helpful hints (for a change).
  • PowerPoint remains the dominant delivery method - also highly intuitive with new graphic options.
  • Outlook email - see previous comments about junk mail rules.
  • Customer service needs serious leadership.

Microsoft 365 is excellent for small and large companies, desktop document manipulation, PowerPoint and database management.
